NHGOP Chair MacDonald decides not to seek election to top party post in January

The New Hampshire Republican Party will have a new chairman in 2019.
Coming off of a tough midterm election, NHGOP Chairman Wayne MacDonald told WMUR Tuesday morning that he has decided not to seek a full, two-year term leading the party. The Republican State Committee will elect party officers for 2019 and 2020 on Jan. 26.
