The state Democratic Party has launched new online petition urging Gov. Chris Sununu to return an effective pay raise he took in 2017 and sign into law a minimum wage bill.
A top Republican staffer countered that a higher minimum wage called for in the bill “would stifle our economy and cause massive layoffs.”
