Volinsky concerned Sununu’s nomination of MacDonald to lead Supreme Court may have been ‘wired’

When Gordon MacDonald was nominated by Gov. Chris Sununu as the state’s attorney general in April 2017, he sailed through the Executive Council confirmation process and was approved by a unanimous 5-0 vote.
At that time, Republicans held 3-2 majority and the two Democrats, Andru Volinsky and current U.S. Rep. Chris Pappas, joined in supporting him.
