Supreme Court set to issue ruling on Northern Pass

The New Hampshire Supreme Court is set to rule on whether a state committee erred when it rejected a controversial project that would have brought hydropower from Canada to markets in southern New England.
Last year, the state’s Site Evaluation Committee denied a proposal for the Northern Pass project over concerns from communities and environmentalists that it would harm the region’s tourism industry and hurt property values.
