State may take homes for Hampton bridge project

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation will hold another public meeting later this month on the topic of the Hampton Harbor bridge project, which could involve the government taking six homes near the the structure if it is rebuilt on the east side of the original bridge.

The NHDOT meeting is scheduled at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30 at the Seabrook Recreation Center, 311 Lafayette Road. State officials have been meeting with residents, waterway users and other stakeholders in the bridge project to receive feedback on what would be a best fit for Hampton and Seabrook.
