Senate Democrats to pitch $12.9 billion budget on the road

Days after the New Hampshire Senate passed a $12.9 billion budget proposal, Democrats are taking it on the road.
Democratic state senator Jay Kahn will be at Keene State College on Tuesday at the Alumni Center at 12:45 p.m. to pitch the Senate’s plan, joining with college president Melissa Treadwell and School Administrative Unit 29 Superintendant Robert Malay.
And Sen. Cindy Rosenwald will host a presentation at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Southern New Hampshire in Nashua, standing with hospital officials and physicians to talk about increased health care spending in the budget.
