The state’s reopening task force is considering proposals to get youth sports and summer camps up and running again.
The task force heard a lengthy presentation Monday about youth and amateur sports, which are divided into two groups: low-contact, such as baseball and softball, and high-contact, such as football.
Phase one reopening would start with conditioning in small groups of fewer than 10 taking place outside and under distancing guidelines. Phase two would increase group size to 50 to allow for games and scrimmages.
