Airbnb hosts in New Hampshire collectively earned about $31 million from 251,000 guests in 2018, the hospitality company said in a report released Monday. Not surprisingly, the White Mountains and Lakes regions attracted the biggest number of visitors.
About 3,500 Granite State hosts share their homes via Airbnb, typically earning about $6,100 annually in supplemental income, the company said.
“As we reflect on this past year and celebrate the beginning of a new one, we are proud to have played a small role in countless memories and cultural exchanges statewide — from summer trips and leaf peeping to college commencements and the holiday season,” said Josh Meltzer, head of Northeast Public Policy, in a statement.
