Some lawmakers in Concord are pushing a campaign to “ban the box,” or get rid of the box on employment applications that asks about criminal history.

Supporters of the change said it can be difficult for anyone with a criminal record to find work. The proposal would prohibit employers from asking about someone’s crimes until they get into a job interview.
