A free associate degree for qualified students, research into the state’s high rate of pediatric cancer and a multimillion-dollar clean energy fund were among proposals highlighted by Republican Gov. Chris Sununu in his second inaugural address Thursday before a joint session of the state Legislature.
Sununu sounded a bipartisan tone in his speech, as he now faces Democratic control of the House, Senate and Executive Council after two years in which Republicans controlled those chambers.
