Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was in Concord on Wednesday to keynote the Concord GOP’s Lincoln-Reagan Dinner at the Grappone Conference Center. Before signing copies of his book, “Let Me Finish,” to the Merrimack County GOP faithful, Christie sat down with Patch to talk about his 2016 campaign, whether not running in 2012 was a mistake, why it was important to visit New Hampshire to rally the rank-and-file, changes in the Republican Party – including its positions on trade and getting tough with China – as well as what the future holds. At 56, Christie said he was too young to retire and still had two kids to put through college. A 2024 run for president may not be out of the question either.
