The big-government liberals are going for broke. As the Legislature swung to the Democrats’ side last year, even reliably Republican towns like Bedford flipped.
So are voters, in Bedford and elsewhere, paying attention to the results?
Republicans in Bedford outnumber Democrats almost 2-1 (7,841-4,044 as of last November). Given the town’s usual voting, one can safely assume that most of the nearly 6,000 undeclared voters also lean GOP most of the time.
