New Hampshire Democrats howled all summer that because Governor Sununu vetoed the state budget because he wouldn’t raise taxes that he didn’t care about public education?
Well, earlier this month Governor Sununu and Education Commissioner Frank Edelblut secured a $46 million grant from the federal government to help public schools. A big win for New Hampshire. However, what did Democrats in the state Legislature do? They blocked the money. Why? Because the money was for public charter schools.
