Former Hassan aide sentenced to probation for helping ‘dox’ Republicans

A second former aide to Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-NH, was sentenced Monday for her role in a scheme to break into Hassan’s office to obtain and post information about Republican senators in 2018 during hearings on Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination.

Samantha Deforest Davis, 24, was sentenced to two years of supervised probation with 200 hours of community service, with a suspended sentence of 180 days in prison.
