Former New Hampshire attorney general and U.S. Sen. Kelly Ayotte was at the State House again Tuesday arguing for the state to keep its limited death penalty on the books. (See news article page A1.)
It was Ayotte who prosecuted the killer of Manchester police officer Michael Briggs. She saw to it that his killer, Michael Addison, was placed on New Hampshire’s death row. On Tuesday she was joined in her support of the death penalty by Officer Briggs’ widow, Laura Briggs.
