Windham Selectman, State Rep. awaits verdict in assault case

Windham Selectman and newly elected state Rep. Joel Desilets was in court Wednesday to continue his assault trial that began in July.
Judge Robert Stephen heard testimony from Desilets, the arresting officer, the detective who ran follow-up interviews and several workers at the Windham bar where the alleged crimes happened. A verdict was not reached before press time.
