Widow of slain officer testifies against repeal of death penalty in NH

The widow of a Manchester police officer who was shot and killed in the line of duty testified Tuesday against an effort to repeal New Hampshire’s death penalty.

Officer Michael Briggs was shot and killed in October 2006. Michael Addison was convicted of capital murder in the shooting and sentenced to death.
