Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce members and Gov. Chris Sununu celebrated the chamber’s successes and longtime leaders Thursday morning while looking ahead at how the chamber plans to evolve after a challenging year.
Sununu joined the chamber for its annual breakfast meeting to commend President Laura Ring for her 29 years of ongoing service. Ring’s surprise recognition was one of several honors bestowed during the meeting, which also served to introduce initiatives that chamber leaders say will help them better serve the community.
“This year will be a year of growth and evolution for our chamber,” said Anne Brown, who was introduced as the new chair of the chamber’s board Thursday. “You’re all well aware of the exciting developments happening in Rochester. Likewise, you’re also mindful of our challenges. It is a time of change and that’s exciting.”
