As the Southern New Hampshire Regional Water Interconnection Project gains steam, Gov. Chris Sununu appeared in Hampstead to call attention to the importance of clean drinking water.
Sununu stood in the Hampstead Town Hall Monday to sign a proclamation about water, declaring May as “Drinking Water Month.”
The proclamation discussed protecting the drinking water in New Hampshire, practicing water conservation, testing private well water for contaminants, becoming involved in local water issues and preserving water for future generations.
