Officials at New Hampshire’s Division for Children, Youth and Families are aiming to make structural improvements to the agency after years of struggles, they said Wednesday – even as a new watchdog report suggests there’s a long way to go.

In an interview in response to a sweeping 39-page report from the Office of the Child Advocate, DCYF Director Joe Ribsam and Associate Commissioner of the Department of Health and Human Services Chris Tappan acknowledged the concerns and said they hope an expected staffing boost can help kick off broader reforms.
