The New Hampshire state budget stalemate hit Day 20 Saturday, and Gov. Chris Sununu has been applying his charm offensive — including in an unprecedented private meeting with municipal leaders to plead his case.

Some were won over, like Londonderry Town Manager Kevin Smith, a past Republican candidate for governor.
