Secretary Gardner returns to work after winning re-election

After a cliffhanger of a race on Wednesday, it was back to work for Secretary of State Bill Gardner on Thursday.
Gardner has seen just about everything in his 42 years overseeing elections in New Hampshire, but even he admitted that he didn’t foresee the legislative drama involving razor-thin vote margins and a second ballot.
