Oklahoma settlement with drugmaker could have implications for NH lawsuits

Officials with the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office said they are watching the situation closely after Oklahoma settled a lawsuit with Purdue Pharma, the maker of OxyContin.
Oklahoma was one of many states, including New Hampshire, that have filed lawsuits against the drugmakers. Under the terms of the settlement, Purdue Pharma will pay Oklahoma $270 million.
