NHDES proposes drinking water standards for PFAS levels

The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services is calling for new standards for chemicals known as per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, or PFAS, in drinking water.

According to DES, the federal government usually hands down drinking water standards, but it does not have standards for PFAS.
