NH rep: Tax electronics to fund education

Public education needs more money and taxing electronics would help fill the void, the House Ways and Means Committee was told Wednesday.

“We do not have enough money for education,” said Rep. Skip Cleaver, D-Nashua, prime sponsor of House Bill 1492. “Video games are kind of the opposite of education and what is opposite of education ought to fund it.”
