Later this summer, the state will begin studying potential impacts of allowing tiny homes in residentially-zoned areas, thanks to a bill passed by the Legislature and signed by Gov. Chris Sununu.
Seacoast housing officials, a Hampton Falls woman who might find out Thursday if her town will let her stay in her tiny home, and proponents of House Bill 312′s study committee all say it’s encouraging.
“This could be huge,” said Joe Mendola, a Realtor who helped push through the bill with the sponsorship of state Rep. Dave Testerman, R-Franklin.
