DHHS: Letters sent to parents regarding lead exposure testing sent in error

The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services is apologizing for sending letters to parents mistakenly notifying them their child had high levels of lead in their blood.

DHHS officials said they recently discovered nearly 300 families received the letters due to a processing error.
