This summer, towns in southern New Hampshire are breaking ground on what will become the state‚Äôs largest regional water system. It is being built in part with money from massive settlements between New Hampshire and gas companies, including ExxonMobil, that used to produce MtBE, a chemical that polluted local drinking water.
