New Hampshire’s rate of road fatalities this year has fallen sharply from 2018’s near-record pace, returning to the level of 2017, with one exception: motorcycles.

As of this week, 26 motorcycle operators and 3 passengers have been killed in crashes on New Hampshire roads, which is one more death than at this point last year, and is almost twice the number of motorcycle deaths seen in all of 2017.
