Senator Jeanne Shaheen wants the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to speed up dredging projects for two Seacoast harbors in the coming year.
Shaheen pushed last year for the Corps to dredge Hampton Harbor. That project was recently completed.
Now, she says dredging is overdue for Rye Harbor and the Piscataqua River, home to the Port of New Hampshire in Portsmouth.
