County prosecutors are opposing an effort to grant work release to former Nottingham state Rep. Kyle Tasker, who is serving time in prison for drug possession and soliciting a 14-year-old girl for sex.

Tasker, 33, was sentenced to three to 10 years in prison after striking a plea deal and pleading guilty in May 2017 to five counts of possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute and four counts of prohibited use of a computer.
