Opioid overdoses down, meth use up

For the first time since December 2015, Nashua saw no confirmed opioid-related fatalities in January, while non-fatal opioid overdoses for the month were at the lowest level since April 2017.

However, just as the community makes progress in the battle against fentanyl, heroin and other opioids, another drug is creating more concerns: methamphetamine, also known as crystal meth or simply meth.
