A culinary registered apprenticeship program has been launched by Bedford-based Great NH Restaurants, parent company of the Copper Door, T-Bones and CJ’s eatery chains.
Developed in partnership with the Community College System of New Hampshire’s ApprenticeshipNH program, the initiative will consist of 574 hours of classroom instruction completed over the course of three years at New Hampshire community colleges as well as just over three years of on-the-job training at a restaurant. As cook apprentices, apprentices will learn with the support of a mentor how to prepare, serve and plan a variety of menu items offered.
