Gas prices up slightly in northern New England

Gasoline prices have risen slightly in northern New England.
Prices in Maine went up 2.5 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.25. In Vermont, prices went up 1.4 cents per gallon, to $2.35. New Hampshire’s price went up less than a penny and remained about $2.23 a gallon.
The national average has increased 6.8 cents per gallon in the last month and stands 19.6 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
