Former drug recovery advocate pleads guilty to charge related to fentanyl trafficking

A former drug recovery advocate who admitted to his role in distributing fentanyl entered a guilty plea in federal court Thursday.
Investigators said Jeffrey Hatch was stopped by police almost two years ago and was in possession of fentanyl. In a written statement, Hatch, a former NFL player who worked at Granite Recovery Centers until last month, said he had the drugs as part of a relapse from a knee replacement.
