A new commander has officially taken over at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.
Capt. Daniel Ettlich replaced Capt. David Hunt during a change of command ceremony Friday morning.
Hunt assumed command of the shipyard on July 29, 2016. Since that time, he has overseen the delivery of the USS Oklahoma City, USS Providence and USS Key West.
