The plan was simple: Use a pickup truck to drive the 57 miles from Rochester to Lawrence, Mass., purchase a large amount of fentanyl and drive another 57 miles back to New Hampshire.
What could go wrong?
What Randy Stevens, 29, of Farmington, didn’t know is that investigators were tipped off to his June 20, 2018, road trip by someone who was cooperating with police, according to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s office.
