New Hampshire will get a more than $26 million slice of $1.8 billion announced Wednesday by the Trump administration to combat the nation’s ongoing opioid scourge.

The state opioid response grants announced by White House officials total $932 million in Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration funds, and $900 million over three years in Centers for Disease Control and Prevention funding, as announced by Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar and senior adviser to the president Kellyanne Conway on a press call Wednesday morning.
