City councilors want state liquor officials to consider a local vape shop’s proximity to Laconia High School when it comes to granting a license.
Tom Slawniak, who opened Raven Vape at 371 Union Ave. two years ago, told councilors Monday night he chose the space because of the high traffic count, coupled with a big front window that makes his merchandise visible from the street. What clinched the deal was that the space needed fewer renovations than other properties he had looked at.
