A threatening note led to a heavy police presence and an early dismissal Monday for students at the high school campus.
Students at Bedford High School and the attached Ross A. Lurgio Middle School had to shelter in place Monday morning before they were released to go home shortly before noon.
“At approximately 10 a.m., the Bedford High School administration received a written note with information on doing harm at a specified period of time,” Superintendent Mike Fournier said in a statement.
