The New Hampshire House has passed a bill to expand the Pease Development Authority board to give the town of Greenland a seat at the table.
We respect the legislators who have sponsored the bill and understand their motivation. We agree that the explosive growth at Pease has begun to create traffic problems in Greenland during the morning and evening commute as more than 10,000 workers enter and exit the tradeport. And we agree that there is a small chance that those traffic problems could slow first responders during an emergency. So there is definitely a problem that needs to be addressed.
